Designing the elements of Emergence Event, by MegaCon Games, was a joy. The art director Keith Lowe and I agreed on a futuristic look but keeping it simple, akin to the pannels used by crew members on Star Trek — bold shapes with flat coloring. While I touched almost every part of the game, below are various items that I created from the ground up or had a major role in developing.
There are many icons in Emergence Event. Each icon was designed with a futuristic and abstract mindset, yet still being able to relay an idea or situation to a game player.
